Goat's Milk Colostrum

Immune support that starts at the beginning of life* — nature’s first food!

Free Range Goats used to Make Powdered Goat Milk image

The goats at Mt. Capra Farms in Washington State are free range allowing them to enjoy life the way nature intended. The food supply offered to each goat is free of pesticides, herbicides, growth hormones and antibiotics. Their goats have a laid back lifestyle and the incredible nutritional quality of their milk is captured in their gentle and unique production methods and transferred into the products they produce.

WHAT IS Colostrum?

It’s the thick yellow fluid which is produced as a precursor to mother’s milk (cow, goat, human or other mammal). It is nature’s transfer of immune factors that occurs the first two days postpartum.

Goat's Milk Colostrum is unique because it’s from goats — meaning it’s from a source that is closest to human milk, providing the two most important components for overall health — immune and growth factors*. Our colostrum comes from goats that are never fed synthetic growth-hormones, antibiotics or feed that contains pesticides or herbicides—the true essence of natural. Furthermore, it is processed using Refractance Window™ drying equipment—proprietary heat transfer technology that gently and efficiently removes moisture from delicate product while preserving excellent nutrient levels.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF COLOSTRUM?

First of all, there are over 90 known health-enhancing components in colostrum, the primary being immune and growth factors*. Immune factors in colostrum have been shown to:

  • Provide immune support to help your keep your body healthy*
  • Supports the immune system and promotes muscle growth*

Growth factors in colostrum help build:

  • Bone, muscle, nerve tissue, connective tissue, skin & cartilage*
  • Lean muscle mass*
    • Skin collagen and epithelial growth factors to slow the aging process*
  • Tissue and support integrity of the gut lining*

HOW SHOULD COLOSTRUM BE CONSUMED?

Researchers suggest starting with larger amounts, then reduced after results are obtained.

Starting Amount: Take 2-4 capsules (1425-2850 mgs.) twice daily, on an empty stomach (first thing in the morning and at bedtime).

Occasionally it may interfere with sleep, if it does, take second amount about two hours after lunch.

Maintenance: Take 2 capsules twice daily, on empty stomach.

Athletes: To improve performance and endurance, take 30-45 minutes before workout. Best results have been reported at about 2850-5700 mgs. per day.
