Ordering and Shipping Policy
Minimum order is $16.00 *
Orders are shipped from Nevada, Missouri (main warehouses), Minnesota (refrigerated/frozen items), or Wisconsin (eggs, produce, and farm products) in the U.S. Shipping times for Ground service are generally 4-8 business days. SmartPost options take 2-3 weeks and are delivered by the US Postal Service. Limited tracking is available for SmartPost. Charges for 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air shipping are dependent upon the weight of your order and your zip code. You will see the rates before you are charged.
We offer the following expedited shipping options - 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air. Please note that orders requesting these options will be shipped out on the following business day. There are no expedited deliveries made on Saturdays.
Refrigerated and Frozen Shipping
Cold storage and frozen items like our Pastured Poultry, Grass-Fed Meats and Dairy items are shipped from a separate location and have separate shipping charges from our non-cold storage items. Shipping charges depend on weight and zip code, and you will see the rates and options before you checkout. These items are only shipped within the US, and 2nd Day Air is the only option available for Hawaii and Alaska. Orders are shipped Mondays through Wednesday each week. If perishable food items are damaged in shipment, we will refund the cost or ship another cooler. These products which are perishable are non-refundable.
Eggs are shipped directly from the farm in Wisconsin on Monday and Tuesday each week and have separate shipping charges from our main warehouse items (located in Nevada). The eggs are shipped in multiples of four dozen. Shipping charges depend on weight and zip code, and you will see the rates and options before you checkout. These items are only shipped within the US, and 2nd Day Air is the only option available for Hawaii and Alaska. We will gladly refund or reship for any damaged eggs if needed. These products which are perishable are non-refundable.
Wisconsin Farm Product Shipping
Wisconsin Farm Products are shipped directly from the farm in Wisconsin on Monday through Wednesday each week and have separate shipping charges from our main warehouse items. Shipping charges depend on weight and zip code, and you will see the rates and options before you checkout. These items are only shipped within the US, and 2nd Day Air is the only option available for Hawaii and Alaska. We will gladly refund or reship for any damaged items if needed. These products which are perishable are non-refundable.
Hawaii & Alaska Shipping
Hawaii and Alaska shipping options are USPS Parcel Post (4-8 weeks) or USPS Priority Mail (2-4 weeks). Expedited shipping is also available. Rates are dependent upon weight, and you will see the rates and options before you are charged.
APO/FPO/DPO US military addresses for those outside the US are shipped via US postal system. There is no charge. Please check the box for APO/FPO/DPO when going through checkout. Our Eggs and Wisconsin Farm Products cannot be shipped to these addresses.
We offer the following options - USPS Priority Mail International (2-4 weeks with NO tracking information), USPS Global Express (3-5 business days with tracking information), Worldwide Express (3-7 business days with tracking information) or Worldwide Expedited (3-5 business days with tracking information). Rates are dependent upon weight and you will receive a quote for shipping with your shopping cart before having to pay for your order, and you will be able to choose which shipping option you want. Tropical Traditions is not responsible for customs or duties that various countries may charge. Please check on these before ordering.
Drop Shipped Items
Items that are drop shipped (shipped directly from the manufacturer), such as Rebounders, are only available within the 48 Continental United States. Special charges apply (see below.)
Our electrical appliances run on 110 voltage are not shipped outside the U.S.
Cancellations, Refunds, and Security
You can cancel and change your order online and have it credited to your account anytime before the order is processed for shipping by going here. Please note that it may take a few days before the refund posts to your account. Unlike many companies doing transactions on the Internet, Tropical Traditions upholds the highest security standards possible on the Internet. We never store credit card numbers anywhere on our servers, and because of this, your order is charged at the time of purchase, not the time of shipment. This keeps your credit card information in the hands of the banks, not us. Other companies which charge your card at the time of shipping are storing your credit card number on their server. Many of these businesses are hosting their websites on "shared servers" with many other businesses with public access to the same computer. Tropical Traditions subscribes to ScanAlert, a fee-based merchant service that scans our servers DAILY to look for security holes, and we run our websites on dedicated servers that no one else has access to.
Due to the nature of the products, perishable food items such as meat, poultry and dairy are not eligible for refund or return.
The following items have special shipping charges applied, as they are drop shipped from a different location:
Rebounders - $28.50 special shipping (folding) and $38.50 special shipping (non-folding.)
* Order minimum consists of Tropical Traditions main warehouse-shipped items only. Items such as our grass-fed bison, grass-fed lamb, grass-fed beef, grass-fed butter, pastured poultry, eggs, and our Needak Rebounders are shipped from a different location, and they do not get counted towards the order minimum order.
